Our mobile headshots studio is a high-impact value add for any conference. Whether in-house or a large association event, it gives attendees a chance to update their online profile photo, something everyone appreciates but rarely makes time for. Each person selects their favourite image on the spot before they walk away, ensuring they leave with a photo they’re genuinely happy with. We’re warm, efficient, and expertly streamlined, making sure everyone feels looked after while maximising output.

FAQ’s

No randoms! We have a consistent team of photographers and videographers, all trained in the Magnetic Shots style of visuals and customer service. If your event is in NSW or VIC, you’re likely to have Helen, Jeff, Dinil or Gill. Grace is based in Queensland, but loves to join us interstate too. We are all keen to travel Australia wide and overseas with you. No matter who your dynamic team will be, you’ll have a briefing call with them before your event, so you’ll be on first name basis once you get on site.

Anywhere you go, we are happy to join you! We’ve captured events in every state of Australia, plus New Zealand and soon Vietnam. We are all about building long standing relationships with our clients as this makes everyone’s life easier and the event more enjoyable. So we are happy to move around the country if your event moves each year. If you’re used to having to find a new, local photographer for each location, we can now save you time. Plus we will always quote including any travel costs, so you can compare apples with apples (and often we still come out better value).

Event photography is just the beginning. We have a talented team of videographers that can create a highlights reel of your conference or gala which is a great way to wrap up this year and promote next year. Vox pops have become very popular too – where we do short interviews with delegates and sponsors, creating a bunch of short testimonials for your event or association.

Yes, no and maybe! Where possible we will tweak our costs to fit into your budget. (because we know that your clients are going to love the finished result and be happy they fit us in!) We are flexible and owner operated so we’re all about having a chat and seeing how we can make it work for both of us. Perhaps we can have some breaks onsite and reduce our costs, or we can combine our services so you are ticking off 2 lines of your budget in one. eg photography and guest give away

We don’t leave things to chance! We will communicate with you from the beginning to ensure you have the best options booked and brief prepared – everything important to you will be captured. Our conference photographers are both technically savvy and know how to quickly read the room. Years of experience means they can anticipate conference delegates and know how to capture the best angles of keynote speakers and exhibition space.  We work to your brief to ensure that the images you receive are exactly what you wanted.

Our first step is to discuss your event photography needs with you over a brief discovery call. You will then receive a written quote and if you accept, we’ll forward the contract and deposit invoice to hold the date. Bank transfer is our preferred method of payment. Payment made by credit card may have bank fees added to the invoice amount.

Our goal when covering your event is to give you all the images and videos you could need to wrap up this year and promote next year’s event with ease. We deliver 30 images same day to keep the socials pumping. We normally send you these as a Dropbox link, but we have other methods if needed. Within 7 days of your event conclusion you’ll have the full set of images, organised into logical folders eg. welcome event, keynote A, exhibition. We’ll send you a draft edit of your video for you to review and then the final version will have your branding on it, ready to share online.
